Her Story

Lisa Johnson graduated from U.C. Berkeley with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, then started her own line of handmade jewelry which she sold to many galleries and boutiques throughout California and Oregon.

 

As times changed, and many retail stores closed, she had fewer venues featuring her works. So, after working in retail stores for over 38 years, Lisa and Troy decided to open their own brick-and-mortar retail business in their local community and to represent their own work, as well as work by many of their artist friends. Jade and Jewels Gift Shop was conceived as a nature inspired boutique gallery with unique and rare handmade art and carefully curated gifts.
